Digital cameras have revolutionised photography but because they're essentially designed by computer technicians they've developed a language and unnecessary complexity all of their own.
|
Designed for photographers working with digitised images, our Everything Digital photography courses will guide you through the whole process, from using your camera to capturing, organising and editing your images, to printing and web publishing them.
Many photographer find that the initial instant feedback and ability to see their images quickly is a real plus when you start using a digital camera.
|
|
But too often, confusing menus and a bewildering array of options leave the photographer baffled or returning to the auto settings. And with this their progress and a lot of the enjoyment in their photography ceases.
As if all this wasn't enough as a photographer you now have to also be a digital imaging expert, developing your own RAW files then learning how to manipulate them on the computer, using software such as Photoshop, before you can print them or output them to the web.
Every step along this process from shooting an image to editing to printing or web publishing requires you to make decision which can affect how an image looks. Make the wrong decisions and you end up with an image which doesn't look as good as it should, or worse, is permanently ruined.
 |
We'll demystify and simplify the process so that you can make the right decisions at every step along the way.
This starts with making sure you're capturing your images using the best camera setting.
If you get this right then immediately you'll spend less time staring at a computer and more time making pictures!
|
On different courses spend varying amounts of time on image manipulation, printing and web publishing, so please contact us if you're not sure which course is right for you.
Once you know what you're doing and are confident that you're making the right decisions, you'll quickly find your photography becomes fun again and you'll get back to being more creative.

"Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures."
Don McCullin, Photographer
